August 7,2021 Southpac Trucks Ltd - The Sheldrake family name is synonymous with log transport in the central North Island. Graham Sheldrake started the company in 1980 working for New Zealand Forest Products, fast forward 41 years later to 2021, his son Mathew Sheldrake has taken over the business.
Celebrating the transition to the second generation of Sheldrake ownership, Mathew is honouring the milestone with this stunning new K200 Kenworth with personalised plates KDUBBY.
We recently caught up with the new K200 near Tirau in the Waikato.

Last night a few of us were lucky enough to be in Invercargill at the Bill Richardson Transport Museum to honour some of the best in the industry at the NZ Road Transport Hall of Fame.
The night was made extra special as our very own Graham Sheldrake was inducted. Graham has not only been a boss, mentor and good friend to us all at Sheldrake Haulage Limited but also to the entire industry.
One thing you may not know about Graham is that he doesn’t like surprises and we think the surprise he got last night being inducted to the Hall of Fame takes the cake, as he had no idea that it was happening.
From all of us at Sheldrake Haulage Limited we congratulate Graham and couldn’t be more proud of this industry icon.
